TELL US ABOUT YOUR VISION OF THE FUTURE
#SUPPORT BAN PLASTIC - Interview from with James Wakibia - PART 3 :

In this last part of this interview, James Wakibia told us about his vision of the future regarding the environment.
What is your vision of the fight for the environment? What should be done ?
I would love the whole world to give serious attention to issues affecting the environment like climate change and plastic pollution. The world is suffering because of greed by a few. We know the problem but we choose to beat around it, we do not want to solve some really grave issues because we benefit from them.
Climate change and Plastic can effectively be stopped but we are too busy talking non issues other perpetuating lies about real environmental issues. It shocks me that a leader of one of the most powerful nations can say climate change is a hoax, that tells you why we are not achieving sustainable development goals, because of selfishness and greed and stupidity.
If you had 3 wishes to raise, what would you ask?
1 - I would ask all government to ban all single-use plastics
2 - All governments to declare climate emergency
3 - Rights of minorities protected
If you had a magic power, what would you do?
Ohh God, I would do what I have always campaigned and believed in.
If you were the CEO of a big corporation, what would be your first action toward the environment?
Have a department in my corporation geared towards protection of the environment in CSRs and ensure enough funds are allocated in it.
If you had one question to ask to one person, who will be the person and what will be the question?
To: Trump, the president of America.
Question: The US has in the past refused to sign major environmental charters on plastic pollution and also refused to sign a G7 commitment to the Paris accord and a carbon-neutral economy.
Does environment issues matter to you or is everything a hoax? What’s the position of your government in the war against climate change and plastic pollution?
Your answers to :
Pierre Beuret, Inex Circular: “What is your secret to move mountain and be such an influencer ?”

Loïc CoeurJoly & Cyril Pradel, Heyliot: “How did you insure that people changes their habits regarding plastic bags ?
I think to sustainably live in a clean environment we don’t need laws to push us but spirited public awareness and education. Children should grow being taught the importance of conserving the environment. Laws should come as last resort, when everything else has failed and that must then say something about Kenya’s ban, things failed.
